I love X-Men series, so this month I will review this X-Men Origin movie. Wolverine is the story of Wolverine life’s journey as a mutant before joining the X-Men, exactly 20 years before the formation of X-Men.

The film begins with the childhood story of Logan “Wolverine” (Hugh Jackman) and his brother Victor Creed “Sabretooth” (Liev Schreiber) who began to turn into mutant. The story then continues as they mature which is both Wolverine and Sabretooth. His meeting with William Stryker (Danny Huston) led Weapon-X project finally made the two brothers are mutually hostile. The film is peppered with romance and definitely Wolverine scene “claw-scratches” was to be found through the story.

Some good scenes in this film include the opening title tells Wolverine and Sabretooth journey into the army all the time (because they simply can not die), from the first world war to the Vietnam war and various scenes at the blow-up to climax fight with the creation of William Stryker. The action scene was pretty good, but unfortunately there are no new scenes or effects that could make this movie different.

Overall, the film mostly shot in Australia is pretty to watch. For every fan of X-Men movies, like me, this is an absolute must to watch movie.

I love to watch science fiction genre movies, so for this month I will review this full effect D-War movie. This film was taken from a Korean legend about the dragon. Well the legend is told that there is a kind of big snake called Imugi that existed on Earth. Now, every 500 years, an Imugi will be chosen by the heavens to get the power into a dragon. This power is stored in the body of a girl. Well, the story took place in the year 1507 (500 years from 2007) where the power was fitted down to a girl. An evil Imugi named Buraki want that power. He and his followers had attacked the girl’s village. At the last moment, the girl with her boyfriend plunged into the sea to escape from Buraki.

Now, 500 years later in the year 2007, the reincarnation of the young man met an antiquities dealer, who is also the reincarnation of the young teachers 500 years ago. The merchant gave him a necklace and told him to seek and secure the reincarnation of the girl who took power. Short story, the girl finally gives strength to a good Imugi to become a dragon and beat the Buraki.

The movie effect is great but unfortunately, in terms of story and plot it seemed a little bit odd. Overall I think this is an entertaining movie and I simply love to watch this movie.

So now I will review one of the hottest movies that many people are talking about. This is a story of forbidden love between Human and Vampire.

So there is a girl named Isabella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who is forced to move to a small town called Yorks, because her mother and her new husband (his stepfather) will be around the town, so she prefers to stay with his biological father who was not in the 11-year visit. So when she met her father it was a very awkward situation, especially because her father was a cop and is a little bit stiff.

Now at his new school, she actually gets a very good reception, until finally she saw the Cullin’s brothers. He wondered why they were so different, and closed them. What caught his attention was a man named Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). A pug-nosed handsome looking man, look very pale and very mysterious.

At their first meeting, this Edward didn’t show any good reaction to Bella. Moreover, at their first meeting in biology class as they were at the same bench, all of sudden Edward was in panic and angry, and then go with a look full of anger to Bella.

Bella was so confused with Edward behavior. So the next day, he began looking for Edwards, but Edward did not appear until weeks later.

After several weeks, finally Edward returned to school. And when he started back to school he acted so nicely to Bella.

Until one day, when it’s raining, she looked across the street from Edwards. When she turned, a car was unexpectedly slipped and headed straight toward Bella. At the moment she realized that the car will hit her but all of a sudden the car stopped, and guess who’s saved her! Of course the Edwards with one hand to stop the car. But after he saves Bella, Edwards disappeared instead.

Along with her curiosity, the serial killings have occurred in the city that had swallowed some of the victims, who seemed to be done by the Animals. But Bella knew this is not from Animals.

Out of curiosity, then Bella began searching through internet about Cullin’s family. And there she found some very suspicious facts. So she finally found a book about Urban Legend in the Yorks.

Well who the hell is this Edward? How he became a vampire?  Is Human the preys of Cullin’s brothers?  How the fate of Bella? Will Bella be a Vampire?

Oh yeah BTW, this film was adopted from a novel. The novel itself is composed of several titles, just like Harry Potter, this novel is very, very best-selling sales in the United States. And another similarity is that this novel also created by a woman (Stephenie Meyer).  So certainly, there seems to be TWILIGHT 2 – 3 – 4.
